Valle del Silenzio

The Valle del silenzio (Silent Valley) is one of the most fascinating spots within the area of Corno alle Scale. Located at the foot of Mount Corno alle Scale, the valley is the confluence point of some avalanche chutes on which the snow often remains visible also in the late spring. It’s the perfect location for being in complete communion with nature, as well as an important intersection for various CAI hiking trails. 

The Valle del Silenzio offers a stupendous vertical view, with Mount Corno alle Scale being completely visible from its slopes to the top, where trees begin to recede due to the elevation. A small stream flows in the middle of the valley, refreshing the peaceful and pastoral atmosphere of this tiny slice of heaven!
