Budiara e Monte Pizzo

The vast and flat area of “Budiara”, perfect for strolling and having a picnic, is located in close proximity to Mount Pizzo (1194 m.). This territory is also home to plenty of asphodels, transplanted here at the end of the 19th century by the Ligurian physician and botanist Antonio Bertoloni.

Beginning with a carefree walk along the meadows of Budiara, you can proceed towards Sboccata delle Tese, a crossroads among the several CAI trails, and then take a loop path until crossing Mount Pizzo the starting point of various freeride tracks, finally enjoying its quiet and evocative atmosphere.
