Founded in 1986, the library has been housed since 1994 on the ground floor of the new Civic Cultural Center, originally home to the Kindergarten, completely renovated to a design by architect Antonio Gentili. Since 1999 it has expanded with the inauguration of the video projection and internet consultation rooms.
