The Nutcraker

At the Teatro Duse, The Nutcracker, the magnificent classical ballet, will be performed by the acclaimed International Classical Ballet company, featuring a cast of stars from the Russian ballet world. Based on the fairy tale The Nutcracker and the Mouse King by E.T.A. Hoffmann, the ballet tells the story of Clara, a girl who dreams of a prince.

In the midst of a fierce battle against the Mouse King, the Nutcracker is in danger. Clara, overcoming her fears, courageously joins the fight, throwing her shoe to defeat the terrible creature and break the spell. The Nutcracker transforms into a handsome Prince, and the cold night covers the city in a blanket of snow. The Prince takes Clara to his kingdom, the Land of Sweets, where the Sugar Plum Fairy celebrates the joy of all the children who, like Clara, can still dream.
