Bologna , 1954. Bar Margherita , under the arcades of Via Saragozza 85 c/d. In the last thirty years it became one of the most popular bars of Bologna. In 2009, the famous director Pupi Avati (frequent visitor to the Bar during his youth) celebrates it in a movie titled " The Friends of Bar Margherita " . In the morning Augustus , called " Gus", will wait for you, with a ' thirty years of experience in the cafeteria. From 9.00am you can enjoy Italian and Intercontinental breakfast: coffee, cappuccino, Viennese bread, toast , muffins, eggs with bacon, omelets, fresh fruit salad with yogurt and cereals, the warm bread with butter and jam… The chef Peter Monorchio will offer lunch: 2 main courses and 2 second, a selection of salads and a very small but excellent selection of sandwiches (including croque madame and croque messier in full Parisian style) The lunch proposals are different every day because and prepared with seasonal ingredients,. Bar Margherita is open in the evening too, with a wide range of wines and cocktails you can with cold meats, vegetarian or regional organic fresh and aged cheeses, Crescentine and Tigelle.
