Marconi Express 949: new bus service between the airport and Bologna city centre

In anticipation of the high airport traffic season, from Wednesday 5 June the ‘Marconi Express 949’ service will start, a new line of 100% electric buses that will run alongside the monorail service for the entire summer, directly connecting Marconi Airport and the city centre, with its terminus in Piazza Malpighi, without intermediate stops.

The line will run until 8 September and will last 22 hours a day, starting at 4 a.m. (with the first run from Piazza Malpighi) until 2 a.m. (last run from the airport at 1.32 a.m.). The frequency will be one run every 33 minutes.
