Palazzo dei Capitani della Montagna

The Palazzo dei Capitani della Montagna rises in the heart of Vergato, of which it is the seat of the Municipality.

Originally, a 15th century house, it became the seat of the Captaincy of the Mountain in 1483, following a series of architectural interventions. Its current appearance derives from the reconstruction work carried out in the mid-twentieth century on a project by Tito Azzolini and Alfonso Rubbiani.
