Divided into six locations located on the territory, in places of exceptional landscape interest, which describe the relationship between men and seasons, technological and natural evolution, and history, the Ecomuseum is a widespread museum that links the existing building heritage recovered, in order to preserve and enhance the local environmental, artistic, human and historical wealth. The Cati Mill, with the inn and the educational garden rich in ancient fruits and wild herbs, is dedicated to the wheat processing cycle. The Museum of the Earth and the Sun, located in an ancient lookout tower placed in a panoramic point, is the starting point of a route on the sundials of the territory and the local geology. Among the greatest architectural and cultural examples of the Reno Valley, Palazzo Comelli with its large sundial houses, around evocative internal courtyards, the rooms of the Comelli family’s Historical Notarial Archives, exhibition halls, for conferences and courses on the territory; Casa del colono, stables and barns and the small Oratorio di Santa Maria in Porcole along the access road to the village belong to the complex. The Ecomuseum offers a rich and varied program, for schools and groups, of thematic guided tours, educational workshops and courses on different themes.
