The Mengoni archive museum collects documents and projects of one of the major protagonists of Italian architecture of the nineteenth century, Giuseppe Mengoni Fontanese, author of the grandiose project of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, of the Markets of San Lorenzo in Florence and the headquarters of the Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna.
