An exhibition dedicated to the collection of Norman Jones, textiles, sculptures, prints, drawings and watercolours from the Far East and the African continent, some of which date back to ancient Egypt, as well as books and photographs.
Norman Jones, a well-known English professor, began his collecting activity during his university career at Cambridge and later pursued it through assiduous frequentation of the antiques market.
The eclectic collection, the result of the incessant interest in history, cultures and art that characterised Norman Jones' life, was donated to the City of Bologna in 2023 and consists of 146 objects and works.
