The farm of Palazzo di Varignana presents its new wine cellar: 1.100 square meters of spaces built according to the canons of semi-underground architecture, made with natural materials representative of the territory, such as olive wood and red bricks, perfectly integrated with the nature of the surrounding area.
The tasting room is characterized by elegant interior design and colours reminiscent of autumn foliage. The view gets lost towards the terrace overlooking the spectacular vineyard which is currently being converted to organic. Alongside the native vines, such as Sangiovese, Albana, Famoso, Malbo Gentile and Pignoletto, we grow international ones, such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Bianco and Chardonnay. For the production, we use the most modern technologies, in order to guarantee the preservation of the genuineness and organoleptic properties of the wines.
The barrel cellar, under its imposing red brick vaults, houses French oak barrels in which young wines rest and refine to reach the right degree of ripeness and become the best expression of the terroir and the vines that generated it.
In the sparkling wine area we find Villa Amagioia within the characteristic pupitres, traditionally used for the remuage, the last fundamental step before disgorging the classic method.
The cellar and the vineyard unfold within a wonderful natural amphitheatre, an exceptional location that, since last July, has hosted various events related to the world of wine tourism, such as concerts and open-air cinema with tasting.

The tasting room is open every weekend to offer our guests the chance to discover our wines: Chardonnay, Classic Method Spumante, Pinot Noir and Sangiovese Superiore.

Time of the tasting:
- from Wednesday to Sunday at 17:30 we propose the sensorial tasting of extra virgin olive oil;
- from Wednesday to Sunday at 18:30 we offer the wine tasting en plein air, Superior tasting and Premium tasting;
- from Wednesday to Sunday at 20 we propose the wine tasting en plein air, Superior tasting and Premium tasting;
- on Friday and Saturday at 11:00 we offer wine and oil tasting, lunch and walk;
- On Saturdays and Sundays at 11:30 we propose the sensorial tasting of extra virgin olive oil and at 12:30 we offer the tasting of wine en plein air, Superior tasting and Premium tasting.
