Where to park in Bologna
Bologna is a city on a human scale, very well suited to be discovered on foot or by bicycle. We thus suggest you leave your car in the city centre or near your destination.
Before you get there, bear in mind that the old town is a limited traffic area (ZTL): you will therefore need to get a ZTL pass, either online or from authorised points of sale. Parking is against payment, both between blue lines and in public or private parking areas; some “park and ride” facilities are free of charge.
IN THE CITY CENTER OR NEARBY
If you need to park your car in – or very close to - the city centre, there are a number of options. Remember to have your number plate registered with the municipal mobility office, to avoid the risk of being fined for driving into the ZTL unauthorised.
Parcheggio di Piazza VIII Agosto
Parcheggio Bologna Centrale P1 - Metropark
Parcheggio Bologna Centrale P2 - Metropark
Parcheggio Bologna Centrale P3 – Metropark
PARK AND RIDE
If, instead, you are looking for somewhere to park outside the ZTL area, in a park and ride facility, then prefer to reach your destination on foot, by bicycle or bus, we suggest you check out the following options:
Parcheggio Tanari (parking is free with bicycle rental/bus ticket)
Parcheggio Antistadio (parking is free with bicycle rental)
Parcheggio Ferriera (parking is free with bicycle rental)
IN SERVICE AREAS
If you are visiting the city for other reasons, check out the following list of parking lots, outside the ZTL: from there you will be able to reach other places of interest and service areas very conveniently, for example the Fiera district or the airport in Bologna.
Parcheggio Fiera Sud Piazza Costituzione
Parcheggio Fiera Nord Michelino
AIRPORT PARKING
With over 5 car parks around the airport area, you can choose the service that suits you best by checking availability directly online. We recommend you consult the official website.
