Bologna FC in the Champions League

The dream has come true: Bologna FC 1909 will take part in the 2024-25 edition of the UEFA Champions League. After finishing fifth in last season's extraordinary campaign, the Rossoblù club will compete on Europe's most prestigious stage, playing up to eight matches in the tournament's new single-round format.

Bologna
kicks off the tournament at home against Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk at the
Renato Dall’Ara Stadium, followed by two consecutive away games on
English soil, including an important match against Liverpool at Anfield.
The team then returns to Bologna for two home games against the French clubs Monaco
and Lille.
Bologna
will then travel to Portugal for two games, first against Benfica at the Estádio
da Luz and later returning to Lisbon to face Sporting. Between these two
challenging matches in Portugal, the Rossoblù will return home for perhaps the
most eagerly awaited match against the Germans of Borussia Dortmund.
The city of
Bologna is gearing up for these special evenings, ready to welcome fans from
across Europe to the Renato Dall'Ara Stadium, adorning and illuminating its
symbolic monuments in red and blue.
Season ticket sales for Champions' home games have already begun
and will be followed by the sale of single match tickets.
