Visiting the exhibition at Palazzo Albergati from September 21, you will delve into the life and style of a man with a tormented past, artistically unique and extraordinary. His works include landscapes, wild animals, scenes of daily life, and numerous intense self-portraits. Visionary and unfortunate, Ligabue was a self-taught artist who managed to imprint his creative genius on canvas, and his expressionist intensity continues to touch the soul of those who admire his works.

The festival season is about to kick off, offering traditional first courses and local products throughout the Bologna area.

The Farneto Festival awaits you in its namesake village, just a few kilometers from San Lazzaro. Every two years, the dragon Fyrstan that sleeps in the tower of Rocca di Dozza awakens, and this September it will wake again! It is Fantastika, the fantasy festival that sees artists and illustrators bring magical worlds and mythological creatures to life.
