Fondo Francia is a B&B offering the weary traveller affordable and refined comfort. Located in Bologna in proximity to the Airport, Maggiore Hospital, and the Ducati motorcycle factory, it is easily accessible from the beltway’s Fiera exit as well as from downtown Bologna, just a few bus stops away. While attentive to its original style, renovation has permitted to functionally organise spaces, turning the spacious master bedroom into independent guest accommodation. Guests have in fact a wing of the house all to themselves with a separate access so as to ensure perfect privacy and freedom of movement. A fine mix of ‘70s light fixtures, art deco style furniture, elm-wood tables, vintage sewing machines and so on make for a warmly welcoming, family-style ambience and atmosphere. The double-cum-triple bedroom is fully furnished with all comforts and conveniences, including a small refrigerator, a microwave oven and an electric kettle, to satisfy the practical requirements of even long-term guests. The spacious en-suite is pleasurably decorated with turquoise-blue wall tiles hand painted by a local artist.
